Also, we went to Disney World, and had a mightily good time. I got a bit of a sunburn, and had one night of angry sleep-talking, but all else went wonderfully smoothly and we had tons of fun. The awesomeness of the trip did strengthen my conviction that going to college and leaving all of my friends is just fundamentally not a good idea. But, it's happening and it's exciting in its scary big-deal kind of way. Silly and westporty as it is, shopping for logowear as a way of making the decision really helped...something about buying pretty new clothes made me less overwhelmed. Of course, now my post-India no-shopping period will have to extend several years into the future, but it was worth it. Yay life! Allison, Jenny, Brooke, and Aurelia all already know (some have for a while), and are going to vassar, wheaton, providence, and risd, respectively. This means that four of us will be in the providence area. so much hotness. yay.

So I seem to have decided to go to Brown. Yay! There is some glee here. Also some fear, because, like, I'm actually going to college next year. But yay! This is extremely exciting.

drove heather to school today and talked to her online a little tonight...sounds like things are actually really working for her again, and like she's got the next year thing in order, and...it just makes me really really reallllllly happy to hear. heather and i aren't really that close, but i really love her and i've worried about her so much and she should have good things. this is good. i am happy. yay life.

d'you ever have that thing happen where your skin gets all hyper-sensitive and hurts when anything touches you? well i kinda have that right now, though it's not too bad, except on my left foot, which is freeeeeeaaakin out. ach it hurts.
idaho was awesome. tricia is awesome. ted, whom i hadn't previously hung out with much, is also awesome, (though not quite tricia-level awesome :p )
tomorrow is disneyworld! yay! i should probably pack.
my college application skirt is coming along well, if ein bisschen tediously. I think I've cut 27 of 82 letters, not counting punctuation, so far, though I may have miscounted either number. I've done the Ns, Os, Es, and Rs
which reminds me...college admissions results:
brown, carleton, grinnell, macalester, middlebury (for feb) , pomona, reed, swarthmore, and wesleyan were yesses
harvard and williams were waitlistings
i'm probably going to brown, but i haven't been able to fully convince myself of its good-idea-ness yet, so i'm not sure...still seeing cross country teams, discounted tuition, and small social settings when i close my eyes...but maybe not quite as much as i'm seeing hindi and nearness to home and other such brown-associated things. hmmmm.
